About: Deep Roots Flower Farm is a small cut flower farm located in Northeast Alabama. With a background in horticulture and a love for gardening, it has always been the owner’s dream to have a flower farm. In 2018, the owner took an online course through Floret to broaden their knowledge of flower farming. Now, Deep Roots Flower Farm sells cut flowers to designers, florists, and the general public. They also handle small-scale weddings, prom bouquets, and vases for special events.
Seasonal Flowers:
- Early Spring: Daffodils, Lenton Rose, Tulips, Ranunculus, Anemones, Snapdragons, Dianthus, Foxglove, and other cool-season annuals.
- Summer: Zinnias, Sunflowers, Celosia, Gomphrena, and other filler plants.
- Fall: Dahlias, the farm’s favorite, which require care but are totally worth it when they bloom.
Services:
- Dried Flowers: Deep Roots Flower Farm offers beautiful dried flower arrangements during the summer and fall seasons. These arrangements are made to last and retain their color perfectly.
- Bouquets: Unique bouquets with seasonal flowers are available. Customers can check the online store to see which flowers are currently blooming and bring them into their homes for added life and beauty.
- Special Occasions: The farm arranges bouquets for weddings, proms, and dinner events. Whether it’s to accent a wedding dress or to liven up a dinner party, they have you covered. Orders for floral arrangements can be placed through the online store.
Appointments and Flower Cart: Deep Roots Flower Farm does not have a storefront or regular hours of operation. Visits are by appointment only. Occasionally, they set up a flower cart, “Daisy,” and offer bouquets on weekends. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to see when and where Daisy will be available.
