Penton Farms is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated farm, dedicated to providing fresh fruits and vegetables to the community. Established around 1940, the farm has grown significantly over the past 85 years.

About Us: Located in Verbena, AL, Penton Farms spans 150 acres and boasts over 6000 peach trees. The farm, managed by Scott and Rachell Penton, also features a successful strawberry u-pick and a growing pumpkin patch. Originally starting with a few acres of peach trees and a handful of other vegetables, Penton Farms has expanded to produce a diverse array of fresh produce.

Farmers’ Markets: Penton Farms attends several farmers’ markets each week during the summer, including Pepper Place, Eastchase, Millbrook, and more. During peak season, the farm can pick over 1000 baskets of peaches and hundreds of baskets of other fruits and vegetables, ensuring a plentiful supply for market-goers.
