  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the green onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the shrimp over rice or with crusty bread for soaking up the sauce.


  • For a spicier dish, add additional cayenne pepper to taste.
